'The Authentic Colt Black Powder Series' 2nd generation reproduction of the Colt 1860 Army percussion revolver with a .44 caliber bore. It features an 8" round blued barrel, blade front sight, notched rear sight in hammer, checkered hammer spur, smooth curved trigger, and smooth walnut single piece grip. It sports a unfluted 6 shot rebated cylinder with a roll stamped naval engagement scene, a brass trigger guard, and backstrap cut for a shoulder stock. The recoil shield is also cut for a shoulder stock with "stock' screws in the frame. Serial numbers match on the barrel, frame, triggerguard, cylinder, and backstrap. The frame, loading lever, and hammer are color-case hardened and are in excellent condition. The blued barrel, cylinder, trigger and backstrap retain approximately 97% of their original finish with superficial scratches on the barrel, and a tiny speck of rust on the right side of the barrel. The brass trigger guard is excellent with tarnish in the serial numbers and in a screw hole. This firearm includes the original black factory box with paperwork. The action is smooth and crisp. The bore, rifling, and cylinder are also excellent. Revolver is in excellent condition minus the small rust spot.
